  • Payment and Security

    • How can I pay?
      We take all major credit cards or PayPal payments. We cannot accept cheques. We use Protx and Streamline for our merchant bank processing along with a 128bit Secure Socket Layer at all times. This ensures that transactions are safe and encrpted when transmiting details over the net. We do not keep or see your credit card number as it is all processed by Streamline. One of the worlds largest and most professional merchant banks.

  • Delivery and Returns

    • How do you deliver items?
      Depending on size we use a range of services. For small items like wetsuits, clothing and bags we normally use Royal Mail.

      Larger items like Kitesurfing Kites and Kite Boards /  accessories are usually sent by DHL or Fastway.

      For very large items like Windsurfing Boards, Masts or Sail we use Countrywide, TNT or Interparcel.
    • What is the returns policy?
      Any items which are returned for refund or exchange must be received back at Down Outdoor Store within 14 days in a new and unused condition and with the original packaging intact. This should be accompanied with the receipt / Copy of Email Invoice and a Returns Number which will be given to you by a member of staff quoting your invoice number when phoning 084456431246

      No goods will be accepted without an authorised returns number from Down Outdoor Store.

      We regret that we cannot give refunds for carriage on incorrect purchases and we strongly recommend that you use a recorded/insured delivery service when returning goods as we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

    • Back Orders
      We carry a large stock of windsurfing and kitesurfing equipment, clothing and accessories, however, despite our best efforts, sometimes a product can sell out - should this be the case we will inform you of the earliest delivery date. Please inform us at this time should you wish to cancel the order.

      In some cases we order directly from the supplier. If this is the case we will call / contact you and ask if you want to continue with the order.  We will always keep you up to date on a daily basis regarding the transaction and delivery details.

  • Pricing Errors?

    • Pricing of goods
      The prices on our website www.downoutdoorstore.com include VAT and are checked for accuracy. Occasionally errors may occur where prices are incorrectly displayed or changed as a result of circumstances beyond our control. In this situation you will be informed of the revised/correct prices once we receive your order, at this time should you wish not to purchase the product at that price we can cancel that part of the order.

    • Can we help Beginners?
      Down Outdoor Store loves introducing new people into our sports either on a local or a national level.

      We have created special packages tailored towards beginners with massive savings. All these products are of the highest quality and are designed with the beginner in mind so that they can progress quickly, starting having fun and have a product that will last them up into an intermediate level.

      We also have some demo equipment available so just call us for more information. In the future we aim to have a lot more demo equipment available as we realise that it is very important to try out equipment before purchasing it.
