About Down Outdoor Store

Welcome to Down Outdoor Store. Our company was setup by people interested in Watersports for people interested in Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Snorkeling, Surfing, Sailing etc. We are passionate about the sports we do and the Island we live in and its Coasts.

Down Outdoor Store was setup by Michael Forster and Clare Watson during their second year of University. Thankfully we have now finished Uni and can concentrate 100% on the shop. The company has grown from strength to strength and we now have plans to move into a retail premesis very soon within the Lecale Area of Co Down.

• Windsurfing
• Kitesurfing
• Surfing & bodyboarding
• Sailing
• Wakeboarding
• Power Kiting

Many of these activites are completed around the County Down Coast mainly Ballyhornan beach, Tyrella beach, Dundrum Bay, Newcastle & Murloch beaches with the exception of Surfing, where we travel to Portrush or Donegal to catch the waves.
